Rhyming

We are working on rhyming. Each child will get a chance to bring in rhyming objects.
Good job Katlyn, ball and doll ryhme. What other words rhyme? We hope to make a book with all the creative ideas!

Play Doh Fun

                  Play Doh Recipe
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 pkg kool-aid
1 tbsp oil
1 cup hot water

* Mix together flour, salt, cream of tartar and kool-aid in a medium saucepan. Add water and oil. Cook for 3 minutes on medium heat on stove. knead and enjoy! The kids love play doh!

February 4th- Sledding Day!

Kindergarteners can bring in their sled/crazy carpets to sled on the school hill on Friday.
Crazy carpets are easy to carry. I will have a few extra if you do not have a sled.
Parents can join 10:40-11:10 in the fun!
Dress warm.

Healthy Snack

Thank you to Anna and her family for bringing in healthy snack in January.
We loved the blueberries, veggies, crackers and cheese.

Shapes, Shapes and more Shapes

We are working on 2D and 3D shapes. We are describing how they look and getting familar with new vocabulary. We are sorting and comparing different shapes. Ideas to do at home is play I Spy to describe 2D and 3D shapes around your home.Go on a shape hunt.See how many things you can find that have shapes.
